Set like a jewelled crown on the map of India, Kashmir is a multi-faceted diamond, changing its hues with the seasons - always extravagantly beautiful. Srinagar is located in the heart of the Kashmir valley at an altitude of 1,730 m above sea level, spread on both sides of the river Jhelum. The Dal and Nagin lakes enhance its picturesque setting, while the changing play of the seasons and the salubrious climate ensures that the city is equally attractive to visitors around the year.
Gulmarg's legendary beauty, prime location and proximity to Srinagar naturally make it one of the premier hill resorts in the country. The journey to Gulmarg is half the enchantment of reaching there-- roads bordered by rigid avenues of poplar give over to flat expanses of rice fields interspersed with picturesque villages.
Pahalgam is situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from Sheshnag Lake and the Lidder River. Pahalgam (2,130 m) was once a humble shepherd's village with breathtaking views. Now it is Kashmir's premier resort, cool even during the height of summer. |

Delhi to Srinagar .You will be met on arrival in Srinagar and transferred to Deluxe Houseboat. Later this afternoon
take a Shikara ride on the picturesque Dal Lake and experience shopping for handicrafts, curios
and flowers from the unique floating Shikara shops as you also admire the sights of Srinagar. |

In Srinagar .This morning you visit the famous Mughal Gardens enroute and also have the opportunity to visit
a carpet-weaving factory. The afternoon will be at leisure. |

Excursion to Gulmarg.A full day trip to Gulmarg is planned for you. Relish the sight of green meadows surrounded by
snow-capped mountains. Enjoy sledge riding on snow or if you would like, Chair Lifts for
mountain rides are also available. Enjoy a packed lunch carried from your Houseboat before
returning to Srinagar. |

Srinagar to Pahalgam.After breakfast drive to Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds) enroute driving past Saffron fields,
Awantipura ruins and the pine and cedar forest along the Lidder River. On arrival in Pahalgam
you will check-in to your hotel. After lunch have bridle walks and feed your cameras with the
picture of magnificent view of mountains. |

Pahalgam to Srinagar.The morning is at leisure and if you are the adventurous sort you have the opportunity to go on a
trek to Kolahoi Glacier via Aru Village. In the afternoon you will be driven to Srinagar. |
