Manish Kapur is a man in a hurry ! He has to be constantly busy and justify every minute of his waking time . So don't be surprised if he is already screaming commands to his team before he puts down the phone after speaking to you . Loves to end a hard working day with RC and playing with his 3 year old - Rishabh. Manish has been in the travel industry for over a decade with extensive experience in various fields. Having worked in Cox & Kings offices in India and the UK, he was a part of the core team that planned and operated tours all over the Indian Subcontinent. His work has taken him to all corners of the Indian Subcontinent. Admitting to an occasional roving eye, he has appreciated the beauty of women in the UK, the states of America, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore and UAE among other lands.
A foodie to the core , Ravi Changrani started his with career Paradise Holidays in Delhi and then acquired diverse experience working with other travel companies such as Indo Asia. In his last assignment he was responsible for product and planning for the branded domestic products of a global company. An excellent negotiator, he is also an adventurous cook. He brags about cooking aaloo-chicken and insists its good. When he is not downing Nizam's Double egg, Double chicken Katti rolls, he is sucking out the last penny from the suppliers. A very eligible bachelor at a tender age of 27, his favourite websites happen to be shaadi.com and bharatmatrimony.com where he hunts for a tall, good looking, charming . (We hope we remember to update this on D-day)

A staunch Rajasthani, believer in tradition and follower of the genteel ways of the desert, Dilip Chauhan mans the western frontier at Jaipur. Started his career with Mercury travels and worked for four years dividing his time between Agra and Delhi. He later shifted to another travel company and was stationed at Jaipur for three years. When he isn't organizing the jeeps and the camel safaris he plays soccer (sand soccer?) and reads a lot of books.

It may not be physically possible, but every time you meet Rakesh Mohan Singh, he would have gained two more inches around his generous waist. He ambles around the office, correcting a cost here, fixing an itinerary there and almost nothing can shake him out of his slow motion carriage. Spring a question at him, the first reflex answer is a smile and happiness is expressed in hearty chuckles. But let not that calm exterior fool you. Behind it lies a razor sharp mind that thinks faster than you can blink. Carries a candle in his heart for Madhubala and is often seen lost in thoughts.humming "aaiyye meherbaaan ."
He is assisted at Hyderabad by the oh-so-bubbly Ragini, who manages to rub him the wrong way at least three times a day. Her method of working lies somewhere between being a scatterbrain and meticulous. (We are still working out the averages). Bharat Reddy and Ranjan Das Gupta are the other eager beavers in the sales team. Though both bear a common modus operendi; win at any cost, the former charms with his intellect and the latter with his networking

Allwyn Fernandes laughs easily and gets mad as easily. Being nice to him could get your waitlisted rooms in Goa confirmed. A hardcore sales guy, he loves his Yezdi (owns a pair of them!) and can often be seen zooming on MG road screaming into his headset. The average time his cell phone is free between calls is 23 seconds on last observation. Has had an extensive experience in sales "on the field" as he calls it, for over 7 years. Also a Bollywood movies fan, he is a walking encyclopedia on the subject. You know whom to call, if you want to know who wore which shirt in which song in which movie!
If Leena Jaisinghani had not been an excellent travel counselor and operations manager, she would have been a moneylender. Doesn't need a calculator and doesn't understand delayed payments. She is an angel with the clients, sweet and charming. But God save you from her wrath if you belong to a hotel that has upset her clients. She also has a giggling problem. Once she starts, she can neither stop, nor tone it down. And we know it the hard way, its so, so infectious. Her hobbies include shopping (!) and making jewellery, but one wonders - if she is in the office from 9 AM to 9 PM when does she indulge?
Uday Shankar who has handled many, many clients during his tenures in his previous companies is most happy when he is costing and designing long programmes for his clients. While Leena is the bully with the hoteliers, Uday is the (teddy) bear ... quietly charming them. Is a quiet and diligent worker and his scratch pad is neater than most people's presentation material. Likes to spend what little time he has listening to music and watching movies.
Lok Singh is the moneyman. Always hungry for cheques and whining about the bank balances, his aura interferes with the correct working of computers. He is often seen with his head in his hands in front of a blinking monitor screen, crashed hard disks and stuck printers. At the tally support center, his are the dreaded calls. When he isn't worrying about the taxes and collections, he indulges in his hobby, sleeping.
Loveleen Arun has had rich and diversified experience in the hotel and travel industry. She started her career with the Taj Group of Hotels, which was followed by three years tenure at the Imperial Hotel in Delhi and then working with a travel company was inspiration to set up the world of Panache. Simple yet perceptive, she has a keen eye and a clever understanding that never tires her of delivering as promised and to the other . never fails to impress. Gregarious by nature, she enjoys company, her laughs and her favourite de stress is burying herself in books of any kind.
Travelling and organizing travel for others has been Sanjar Imam 's joy ... and work. With almost two decades in the travel business, of which 14 years were with Cox & Kings, he has had an opportunity to not only travel the globe but also organize and travel on trips that range from a month long round the world trip on a customized jet to spiritual journeys to the Pyramids of Giza. Relishes good food, savours fine wine and enjoys preparing biryanis as much as he does preparing itineraries. Creating and nurturing the world of Panache has been his dream turn real. |
