Commence your journey in Jaipur, the bustling capital, which has all the trappings of a metropolis, yet retains an old-world-charm that never fails to surprise a traveller.

The old city painted in pink can grip any visitor with admiration, as do the lofty forts that are testimony to bygone eras. You travel on to Jodhpur, once a part of the famous silk route, the magnificent city of Jodhpur has retained the flavour of a flourishing trade centre. From Jodhpur you drive up to Mt. Abu, the only hill station in the desert kingdom of Rajasthan. Known both as a hill retreat and an important pilgrimage centre for the Jains. End your journey in Udaipur, the jewel of Rajasthan and the most romantic city in India.

DAYS

Sightseeing Program for 6 Nights / 7 days Package

Day 1

Delhi to Jaipur (260 kms/5 hours). You are met on arrival in Delhi and driven to Jaipur where you will be booked to stay for two nights. The rest of the day will be at leisure.

Day 2

In Jaipur to Jodhpur ((5 ½ hours evening train). Take a full day tour of Jaipur and visit its many sights including the City Palace and the Amber Fort. In the evening you will be transferred to the Railway Station in time to take the Intercity Express to Jodhpur. On arrival you will be transferred to the Hotel.

Day 3

In Jodhpur. This morning visit the imposing Mehrangarh Fort and then the museum at Umaid Bhawan Palace. The afternoon will be free for independent activities.

Day 4

Jodhpur to Mt. Abu (290 kms / 6 ½ hours). In the morning you will be driven to Mt. Abu. On arrival check into your hotel where you will be booked to stay for two nights. Rest of the day will be at leisure.

Day 5

In Mt. Abu. In the morning you visit the sights of the hill station. The Dilwara Jain Temple is so beautifully carved that it is difficult to imagine that human hands have sculpted it. You also visit the serene Nakki Lake and other picturesque viewpoints.

Day 6

Mt. Abu to Udaipur (190 kms / 4 hours). Set out this morning for Udaipur where on arrival you check into your hotel. The rest of the day will be at leisure to soak in the charm of this delightful city.

Day 7

Depart Udaipur. In the morning you visit the City Palace and the other important sights of Udaipur. Later you will be transferred to the Airport/Station in time for your onward journey.
