Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has launched its mysterious global experience: the Disappearing Bar! It’s a pop-up bar that lets guests experience Fairmont’s hospitality for just a few days before it vanishes. Once it’s gone, you’ll just have to look out for where it might appear next!
The debut location for this Disappearing Bar?
Take the secret stairs, reach the rooftop otherwise closed, and glow under the iconic neon sign as you sip cocktails and take in the Toronto skyline. On four nights only in September, the roving secret bar will entertain guests on the rooftop of the Royal York hotel, the grande dame of Canadian hospitality.
The brand’s global pop-up event aims to redefine exclusive hospitality and foster local inclusion. It’s a part of the ‘Make Special Happen’ campaign.

Fairmont has stated that every Disappearing Bar will bring to life an experience unique to each destination it will go to and its local people.
In Toronto, the bookable 60-minute event with 20 seats is priced at $96, a homage to the hotel’s near-century heritage.
Guests will be treated to GREY GOOSE Vodka martinis (includes spirit-free options), desserts, live music, and a special highlight gallery to relive the evening.
