Travellers asked to stay away from Thailand-Cambodia border in specific areas; tourism elsewhere unaffected; Indian embassy helpline numbers in place
Due to the ongoing border conflict between Thailand and Cambodia, travellers are advised to avoid a few border areas.
While the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has said that major destinations within the country remain unaffected, it has strongly asked travellers to steer away from certain areas across seven provinces in east and north-eastern Thailand.
The locations include border checkpoints, national parks, sanctuaries, and places of interest. The full list provided by Thai officials:
Ubon Ratchathani Province:
- Phu Chong Na Yoi National Park (Na Chaluai)

Si Sa Ket Province:
